I used to think travel would be an escape of sorts. It isn't. Wherever I go there I am. So, no, it's no escape from life. More of a headlong dive into it. The more I see, the more astonished I am, fascinated and sometimes overwhelmed. I'm constantly reminded how life is lived in infinite different ways. Blows open my big picture. Reconfigures the way my mind works and the way my heart feels.
